Destinies: Bound By Fate

About this expansion

Destinies: Bound by Fate is a cooperative-competitive 2 vs. 2 game mode for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting about 150 minutes. Released in 2020, it brings a second player into each team and challenges both pairs to fulfill a shared Destiny.

Players work together while competing against another team and the clock. Smart cooperation is essential: share quests and items, explore the world faster than your opponents, and decide how to use your team’s resources as you pursue your common goal.

The team that cooperates more effectively and fulfills its Destiny faster wins. This creates a race in which communication and coordination matter, while both teams strive to make progress before time runs out.

• Team format: Play as two teams of two players in a 2 vs. 2 game mode.
• Shared objective: Each team works toward a common Destiny.
• Competitive race: Outpace the opposing pair and complete your Destiny first.
• Expanded compatibility: Play all scenarios from the Destinies base game, Sea of Sand expansion, and Myth & Folklore expansion.

The Bound by Fate add-on does not introduce new scenarios. Instead, it provides the physical elements required to add a fourth player and experience existing Destinies content in this new team-based format.
