About this expansion

Hero Realms: 5 Magic Item Treasure Cards is an exclusive 2016 promo pack for Hero Realms games with 2–4 players. It adds five powerful magic item treasure cards that can be used with the Hero Realms Base Game, with or without Character Packs and the Campaign Starter Deck.

When playing with the base game, shuffle the treasure cards and deal one to each player before the game begins. Each player must then consider how to use their Magic Item and how it affects which cards will be best to acquire from the Market Deck.

This setup adds another layer of strategy without changing the core market-based card play. Your personal Magic Item can influence your decisions as you build your deck and evaluate the cards available in the Market Deck.

The pack also works with the Campaign Starter Deck. In that mode, the five cards become additional treasures that your group can find when you do particularly well on a mission, giving successful missions another possible reward.
