Dead Reckoning: Sea Dogs Expansion 2 is a 2023 expansion for 1–4 players, adding 12 new Sea Dogs cards and instructions to the Sea Dogs collection.

This pack contains the Sea Dogs II group from the Letters of Marque campaign. Two of its 12 Sea Dogs use content introduced in the Letters of Marque package. Without Letters of Marque, those two Sea Dogs provide no usable abilities to your Crew, so their use is not recommended.

When playing with Letters of Marque, deal an even number of Sea Dogs to each player whenever Sea Dogs are distributed. Each player chooses one Sea Dog to use and discards the others back to the box for future games.

If Letters of Marque is not being used, remove the Master Gunner and the Quartermaster before dealing equal numbers of Sea Dogs to each player. In a four-player game, two cards remain unused; each player chooses one card and returns the rest to the box.

With repeated four-player games using Letters of Marque, each player can eventually gain three Sea Dogs, bringing all Sea Dogs from Sea Dogs II into play. Without Letters of Marque, each player can eventually have three Sea Dogs, while four remain unused in the box. Except for the Quartermaster and Master Gunner, the rest of the Sea Dogs II pack is playable without Letters of Marque.

Dead Reckoning: Sea Dogs Expansion 2 offers a structured way to introduce additional Sea Dogs over multiple games while keeping its campaign-related cards clearly separated for future use.
