The Game on Fire

About this expansion

The Game on Fire is a mini-expansion for 1–5 players that adds six special cards to The Game: Spiel… so lange du kannst!, with play taking about 20 minutes. It introduces a sharp new challenge: when a fire card is played, it must be covered by the end of the next player’s turn.

The expansion consists of six fire cards, numbered 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, and 77. Each one creates an immediate deadline for the table. Players must respond to the card on the following turn, or the game is lost.

• Six fire cards: 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, and 77
• A fire card must be covered by the end of the next player’s turn
• Failure to cover it means the players have lost the game

This compact addition makes every fire card a moment of shared urgency. Rather than simply adding more cards, it introduces a clear condition that players must recognize and resolve within a single turn.

The Game on Fire is included in new editions of the base game. To identify an edition containing the expansion, look for a blue note on the box cover. The expansion is also referenced as part of The Game + The Game on Fire.
