About this expansion

Stonespine Architects: Shrines and Fountains Mini Expansion is a 2024 mini expansion for 1–5 players, adding seven new chamber cards with new abilities.

Every card in this expansion features either a shrine or a fountain at its center. This feature does not count toward the limit of four elements in a chamber. After placing one of these chambers, you may perform its effect once immediately.

• Fountain: Move a market token or secret passage token to another chamber, without exceeding four elements in a single chamber.
• Shrine: Swap the positions of two chamber cards in your dungeon. Any market tokens on those cards move with them, while secret passage tokens do not.

The mini expansion also introduces chamber cards with multiple types. Some cards are both stone and cave type, creating an important choice during final scoring: each such card must be scored as either stone or cave, but not both.

With only seven cards, Stonespine Architects: Shrines and Fountains Mini Expansion adds focused new options to chamber placement, token management, and dungeon arrangement. Decide when to trigger each ability, position chambers for greater flexibility, and choose how multi-type cards will count during final scoring.
