About this expansion

Three Sisters: Weather Expansion is a 2022 mini-expansion for the 1-4 player farming game, adding changing weather conditions to each round after the first. It uses the value of the highest undrafted die to determine the weather condition that will affect the next round of play.

The first round proceeds normally. From the second round onward, the active weather effect creates new tactical decisions and opportunities as you farm, encouraging players to consider how the current round’s undrafted dice may shape what comes next.

A dedicated weather board sits above the game board, while a cloud meeple marks the weather condition in play for the round. This gives the expansion a clear, visible way to track the changing conditions during the game.

The expansion adds an emergent layer to the existing round structure without changing the opening round. Each subsequent round includes a weather effect, turning the value of the highest undrafted die into an important source of information for your farming decisions.

Three Sisters: Weather Expansion was a Kickstarter-exclusive mini-expansion and was provided free to Kickstarter backers. It is not included with retail copies of the game, though it may be available directly from Motor City Gameworks in the future.
