Hero Realms: Necromancer Promo & 4 Zombie Cards is an exclusive Hero Realms promo for 2–4 players, released in 2016. It introduces a Necromancer champion who can put a zombie token into play every turn.

Each zombie is also a champion, giving the Necromancer a way to build an increasingly dangerous presence on the table. Because these zombies are tokens, however, they are removed from the game when they die instead of going into your discard pile.

The Necromancer is not particularly tough, so keeping her in play is central to the strategy. If she survives for several turns, she can create a deadly swarm of zombies to attack your opponent.

Guards are champions that protect you and your other champions, functioning like an outpost in Star Realms. Recruiting guards can therefore help shield the fragile Necromancer while she works her evil magic and continues expanding your undead force.
