Barrage: Executive Officer Promo E is a 2023 promo for 2–5 players, with games taking about 120 minutes. It introduces Angelo Alberti for use with The Geological Factor expansion.

Angelo Alberti offers a focused way to manage the additional demands created by Geological tiles. By spending 1 Engineer, he can avoid the extra or replacement costs shown on the left side of a Geological tile.

His ability can be activated twice during the same round, but the second activation requires precise placement. To use the effect twice, place the extra Engineer on the XO action space. Engineers must still be placed during the main action on your turn.

• Angelo Alberti can be used only with The Geological Factor expansion.
• His power avoids a Geological tile’s illustrated extra or replacement costs.
• Each activation costs 1 Engineer.
• The effect can be activated twice in one round by placing an extra Engineer on the XO action space.

The promo also interacts with Mahiri Sekibo. If you decide during your turn to copy Angelo Alberti’s power with Mahiri Sekibo, you can avoid the extra or replacement costs of a Geological tile without placing any other Engineers beyond the one used to activate Mahiri Sekibo.
