Resident Evil 2: The Board Game – Survival Horror Expansion is a 1–4 player board game expansion with an approximately 120-minute play time, released in 2018. It adds new characters, weapons, enemies, and a new player-versus-player mode to the Resident Evil 2 board game experience.

The expansion introduces seven new characters, broadening the available cast with familiar figures from the Resident Evil 2 setting. These include Annette Birkin, Sherry Birkin, Ben Bertolucci, William Birkin, Brian Irons, Brad Vickers, and Marvin Branagh.

New threats also enter the game, bringing four additional enemy types to the table. Players face Giant Spiders, Ivy, Zombie Brad, and Zombie Marvin as they contend with the expansion’s added survival-horror content.
