About this expansion

Drum Roll: Mini Expansion is a card expansion for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2012, it adds five new performer types, with two copies of each, along with seven new personnel cards.

The new performers broaden the available circus acts with distinctive retirement rewards, costs, and abilities. The Acrobat troupe gains the Balancing Man, the first Acrobat to retire for 3 points. The Tamers receive the Bear Tamer, which retires for 4 points and lets you get cubes by paying money.

• Ball Juggler: A new performer for the Jugglers troupe.
• Cabinet Magician: A Magician with flexible performance colors, but a hire cost and upkeep of 5.
• Sword Eater: A Bizarre act that is the first Bizarre performer to cost 5 for hire, while still retiring for 1 × the number of Bizarre acts.

These additions give each featured troupe a new performer to consider, while introducing a new Bizarre act with a distinctive retirement value. The Cabinet Magician’s flexible performance colors stand out alongside its higher hire cost and upkeep, and the Sword Eater connects its retirement value to the number of Bizarre acts.

With its mix of new performer cards and personnel cards, Drum Roll: Mini Expansion provides additional card options for games of Drum Roll. Whether you are adding the Balancing Man, Bear Tamer, Ball Juggler, Cabinet Magician, or Sword Eater, the mini expansion brings five new performer types to the circus roster.
