Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Adamant Sentinels Promo Pack is a set of alternate characters for 2-5 players, designed for 60-minute games and released in 2015.

This promotional set was offered as a pre-order bonus for Villains of the Multiverse. It introduces four alternate Sentinels, each with a distinct innate power that can shape the heroes’ response to danger.

• Dr. Medico — Regeneration: Each of the Sentinels regains 1 HP, and you may draw a card.
• Mainstay — Haymaker: Mainstay deals 2 Melee Damage to 1 target. The next damage dealt to that target is irreducible.
• The Idealist — T.K. Thump: The Idealist deals 1 Psychic Damage to 1 target. Damage dealt by a target affected this way is reduced by 1 until the start of your next turn.
• Writhe — Shroud: The next time a non-hero target is destroyed, you may move it to the bottom of its deck instead of the trash.

The four powers cover several tactical effects, including healing, card draw, irreducible damage, damage reduction, and an alternative destination for a destroyed non-hero target. Together, they give this alternate-character pack a clearly defined set of tools for encounters in the Multiverse.
