The coming of the necroquake has allowed the life magic of Alarielle to seep through cracks in reality and return to Shadespire. This sudden resurgence reaches the Sylvaneth trapped there, stirring Ylthari and her Guardians from their slumber.

Imbued with bountiful vigour and wrath, the Guardians have a clear purpose: to find the lost soulpods of their fallen kin. Their awakening brings the life magic of Alarielle into a setting shaped by the necroquake and the lingering fate of those caught within Shadespire.
