20 Strong: Tanglewoods Promo Cards is a 2023 single-player promo-card set for a 45-minute experience. It contains three double-sided cards, each offering a distinct ability and a way to flip between two powerful effects.

These cards create tactical choices around damage, Health, stats, rewards, and dice results. Timing matters: several abilities activate after a specific step, while others require you to forgo an enemy reward or reach a particular Health value.

• Stilts/Rump: After suffering two or more damage in the Suffer Damage step, Stilts lets you swap the values of any two stats before flipping. On its other side, Rump reduces your highest stat when your Health would next be reduced.
• Tink/Bell: Tink and Bell let you place forgone enemy rewards beneath the active card. Tink can discard one stored card to ignore an enemy’s After or Special effect until the end of the Engagement, while Bell can discard at least three stored cards to defeat a non-boss enemy.
• Jack/Sprig: Jack grants +1 Health when damage from Miss defeats an enemy and flips when you have 5 Health or more. Sprig lets you spend 2 Health to change a miss to a Crit, or change up to two Basic Hits to Crits, during the Apply Dice step.

Every card presents a different approach to managing risk. Stilts/Rump manipulates stats and incoming damage, Tink/Bell rewards patience with enemy rewards, and Jack/Sprig turns Health into improved dice results.
