Port Royal: Big Box – The Instructor Promo Pack

About this expansion

Port Royal: Big Box – The Instructor Promo Pack is a 9-card promotional pack for 2–5 players, with a playing time of about 40 minutes. Released in 2022, it is designed to be played together with the Port Royal Big Box.

The pack contains four Instructor Person cards and five Ship cards. The Instructor introduces a new option during the Trade & Hire phase, allowing cards to move between your display and the harbor display.

• For each Instructor, you may put one card from your own display into the harbor display, including the Instructor itself.
• You may then take one card from the harbor display into your own display in exchange.
• The selected harbor card can be at most two more expensive than the card you placed there.

Two of the new Ships feature an effect from the Just One More Contract expansion. When taking one of these Ships, you gain 3 Coins, while another player of your choice also gains 1 Coin. As usual, the Coins come from the Play deck, and if you are not the active player, you must also pay the active player 1 Coin.

The Instructor promo can be combined with additional Port Royal content. The marked playing cards from Port Royal: Unterwegs!, all playing cards from Just One More Contract, and the Gambler promo card may also be added to the game.
