Barcelona: New Corner Buildings

Barcelona: New Corner Buildings is a promotional building module for 1–4 players, with a play time of 90 minutes and a 2023 release year. It adds six new corner Buildings to the game: four level 2 buildings and two level 3 buildings.

During setup, mix these new corner Buildings with the others. When constructing a Building, you can use them to overbuild, but they follow stricter rules than normal. Their levels must be constructed in order, creating a clear progression from level 1 to level 2 and then from level 2 to level 3.

• A level 2 corner Building may be placed only over a level 1 Building.
• A level 3 corner Building may be placed only over a level 2 Building.
• The depicted citizens must be used and placed on their respective tracks according to the normal rules.

After constructing one of these corner Buildings, place your marker on top of the new Building and score Victory Points. However, these buildings do not provide any additional reward or penalty for being constructed, keeping their effect focused on the new overbuilding options and the citizens required to use them.
