About this expansion

The Witcher: Path of Destiny – Wild Hunt is a 2025 expansion for 1–5 players that introduces a tense, prediction-focused gameplay mode centered on pursuit, anxiety, and cross-plotting.

In its semi-cooperative mode, players stand on opposite sides of the conflict. One player commands Eredin and the wraith-like Generals of the Wild Hunt, while the other players lead Ciri and her companions. The opposing sides compete and cooperate in a struggle to shape the story and prevent Ciri’s abduction.

Wild Hunt introduces Eredin as a playable character created specifically for this variant. Directing the Wild Hunt offers a new range of decisions: each General is assigned to one of four card colors, and playing matching colors moves the Generals forward along the track. This earns experience and Victory Points while unlocking powerful General Ability cards that can hinder opponents.

  • Four General miniatures: Eredin, Nithral, Caranthir, and Imlerith
  • A dedicated playmat and new Side Quests for both sides
  • General Weakness cards earned by cooperating players when they weaken the Generals
  • A solo mode with Ciri or one of her companions facing an Automa-controlled Wild Hunt

Players on Ciri’s side score Victory Points collectively and work together in battle. By playing cards of the appropriate colors, they can move Generals backward on the track and gain General Weakness cards to improve their chances in the competition.

The Witcher: Path of Destiny – Wild Hunt also includes a special Hunt board and four bonus cards for solo play, replacing the Generals’ Weakness cards. With its new components, asymmetric roles, and escalating Hunt mechanics, this expansion offers a distinctive challenge for groups and solo players alike.
