Skara Brae: KS Promo Action Tiles – Barter & Forage is a 2025 promotional set of two special action tiles for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 60 minutes. First offered in the 2024 Kickstarter for Skara Brae, this set adds two distinct ways to use Skaill Knives and gain resources.

The Barter tile immediately provides 3 Skaill Knives. At the end of each Round, you may pay 1 Skaill Knife to purchase the Resources shown directly below the Trader Marker. This purchase is free once the tile is flipped. However, if you have not moved your Trade Marker at least one space, Barter has no effect.

• Barter: Gain 3 Skaill Knives and use them to purchase the displayed Resources when the trade requirement is met.
• Forage: Resolve a Gather Action Tile up to 2 times, or up to 3 times when flipped, and gain 1 Skaill Knife.

Forage lets you resolve 1 Gather Action Tile up to 2 times, just as if Workers had been placed there. When flipped, it can be resolved up to 3 times instead. Forage also grants 1 Skaill Knife, making it a useful source of both repeated gathering and additional currency.

When a Gather Action Tile offers a choice of rewards, Forage lets you choose from any combination. This makes the two-tile set a compact addition with different effects: Barter rewards progress with the Trade Marker, while Forage increases access to Gather actions.
