Viral: The Hive is an expansion for Viral for 2–5 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2021, it introduces five asymmetric and highly thematic viral factions to the body.

Have you conquered the body in Viral? This expansion turns up the heat by giving each player a new hive within the body. From this starting point, players can spread their influence and work toward unlocking new abilities for their chosen viral faction.

Each faction brings an asymmetric identity to the game, making the viral presence at the table feel distinct. The combination of a new hive, influence spreading, and faction-specific abilities expands the experience while staying focused on the struggle within the body.
