XenoShyft: Forbidden Sciences is a 2017 expansion for 1–4 players with a 60-minute play time, adding new cards for the Psychogenics Lab and Grafting Research divisions.

This expansion brings untapped human potential and disturbing biological experimentation to your games. The Psychogenics Lab focuses on the power of the human mind, while Grafting Research can turn Troops into horrifying but effective alien/human hybrids.

Forbidden Sciences includes all-new Division Cards and five new item types for each division, adding a wealth of new variety. Its card contents include:

• Psychogenics Lab items: Precognition, Psionic Adaptation, Psionic Enhancement, Psionic Feedback, and Psionic Juggernaut, with five copies of each.
• Grafting Research items: Corpse-Larva Symbiote, Deathripper Adrenal Gland, Lasher Tendrils, Ravager Carapace, and Siphoning Claws, with five copies of each.
• Division cards: one Psychogenics Lab Division card and one Grafting Research Division card.
