About this expansion

Tramways: Paris / New York is the first expansion for the Tramways base game, supporting 2–5 players in a game that takes about 150 minutes.

This expansion adds a mounted, double-sided game board featuring art deco graphics by Todd Sanders. Each side presents a different setting and introduces its own twist to the Tramways experience.

• Paris: Move passengers along the Seine with boats.
• New York: Build big, expensive bridges that grant more money and more happiness points at the end of the game.

The Paris side brings boats into the game, giving players a way to move passengers along the Seine. The New York side focuses on major bridge construction, with a substantial cost balanced by end-game rewards.

With its double-sided board and two distinct rules twists, Tramways: Paris / New York offers new ways to play while remaining connected to the Tramways base game. The expansion was released in 2017 and includes the mounted game board and a small sheet of rules explaining the changes for each city.

Whether choosing the waterways of Paris or the ambitious infrastructure of New York, players can explore a fresh setting and a different strategic emphasis. The expansion’s art deco presentation and city-specific mechanics make both sides clearly distinct additions to the Tramways collection.
