Omen: A Reign of War – Shattered Aegis is a 2011 expansion for two players, with games taking around 30 minutes. It adds new forces and game modes to the ongoing conflict of the Omen base game.

War continues to rage across the peninsula as cities smolder and the countryside suffers. In response, the gods have offered powerful new units to the Sons’ ranks, giving players fresh ways to shape the struggle.

Shattered Aegis adds 16 new units to Omen: A Reign of War. These include eight Soldiers, four Beasts, and four Oracles, expanding the available forces with a broad selection of new possibilities.

• The new Enrage mechanism
• Three additional game modes

The new Enrage mechanism introduces another tactical element, offering players new ways to approach the battle. The expansion also provides three game modes for greater variety, including advanced deck building and a four-player variant.

For players seeking more options in the original Omen experience, Shattered Aegis combines additional units, a new mechanism, and expanded ways to play. The Second Edition of Omen: A Reign of War, released in 2012, includes all content from both the first-edition base game and this expansion.

Because Shattered Aegis is included in the Second Edition, this expansion is no longer sold separately.
