About this expansion
Colt Super Express: The Time Travel Car is a 2020 board game for 3–7 players with a play time of approximately 15 minutes. It introduces a Time Travel Car positioned in front of the locomotive, creating a dramatic way to replay your actions.
The Time Travel Car can be reached by using a Move action from inside the locomotive or from its roof. A bandit may also enter it after being shot by another bandit and ejected into the car, making this unusual destination part of the train’s action and movement.
When a bandit enters the Time Travel Car, that bandit is moved to the end of the train, inside the last wagon and facing the locomotive. Then, the cards already played are returned to the programming stack in the same order they occupied before. The bandit must replay those cards, and may be the only player still performing actions.
This gives the Time Travel Car a powerful tactical role: a carefully planned sequence can be performed again from a new position at the back of the train. However, using it comes with a strict limit. If the same bandit enters the Time Travel Car for a second time during one round, a time paradox occurs and that bandit is eliminated from the game.
- Reach the car by moving from the locomotive or its roof.
- Enter it by being shot and ejected there.
- Move to the last wagon and replay already played cards.
- A second entry in the same round causes elimination.
With its compact play time and high-risk replay effect, Colt Super Express: The Time Travel Car adds a distinctive temporal twist to the train’s programmed actions.
