Old School Tactical: Phantom Division is a board game expansion for 2–3 players with an approximately 180-minute play time, focusing on the American 9th Armored Division.

Known as the Phantom Division, the 9th Armored fought in several major engagements. This expansion covers the division’s part in three of them, bringing its campaign history together in one boxed addition to the Old School Tactical series.

Phantom Division begins with the Battle of the Bulge, where the 9th Armored Division took part in the fighting. It then follows the division to Remagen, Germany, where it captured the Ludendorff Bridge, before turning to its role in the encirclement of the Ruhr.

The expansion’s historical focus is built around these three notable operations:

• The encirclement of the Ruhr

Rather than presenting a broad overview of the entire conflict, Old School Tactical: Phantom Division concentrates on the exploits of one American armored division and its involvement in these specific battles.
