Agents of SMERSH: Showdown! is a 76-page scenario book for 1–5 players, designed to complement the Agents of SMERSH base game and the Swagman’s Hope and Space Station expansions.

The Showdown! Scenario Book presents a linear history that guides players through a connected series of eight Agents of SMERSH games. Across these scenarios, the UN Secret Service pursues Dr Lobo while the challenges become progressively more difficult.

This structure gives the included scenarios a clear order, making Showdown! a focused way to continue playing Agents of SMERSH through an unfolding sequence of games. Each part belongs to the same eight-game history, so the book is intended to be used as a continuing progression rather than as a collection of unrelated scenarios.

Showdown! also introduces a new Endgame to Agents of SMERSH. Unlike the linear scenarios, this Endgame can be played after any Main Game—the board game—even when you are not using the book’s connected sequence.

That flexibility makes Agents of SMERSH: Showdown! useful both for players following the full pursuit of Dr Lobo and for those who simply want to add the new Endgame to their existing Main Game sessions. Released in 2015, it expands the Agents of SMERSH experience with an eight-game history and an additional way to conclude play.
