The Artemis Project: Satellites & Commanders is an expansion for 1–5 players that adds new strategic opportunities to the colony-building game on Europa, with a play time of approximately 75 minutes.

After establishing a foothold in the snow, your Stabilizers have brought technology that enables the Artemis Project to continue. The next stage of development introduces Chariots: geosynchronous platforms that orbit Europa and influence the colonies below.

At the same time, experienced people shaped by Europa’s harsh conditions rise into positions of authority. These elite Commanders take a prestigious role within your growing colony, offering new ways to use your available forces and plan for the final result.

• Satellites: Off-board locations that let players access and influence action on the moon’s surface below.
• Commanders: Colonists who can act as any colonist type, lend their power to dice sent to various locations, and assist with end-game scoring.

Satellites affect the development of colonies from above, creating subtle but powerful connections between orbital opportunities and activity on Europa’s surface. Commanders, meanwhile, provide flexibility as you direct dice and develop your outpost.

With one harsh development cycle behind you, the competition begins again. Expand your colony, make effective use of Chariots and Commanders, and strive to establish the most successful outpost on resource-rich Europa.

Released in 2023, The Artemis Project: Satellites & Commanders continues the original project with two major additions designed to deepen strategic play without leaving the frozen moon behind.
