The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Dead Marshes is a challenging scenario enhancement for 1–2 players, designed for games lasting about 60 minutes.

This Nightmare Deck lets players revisit the original The Dead Marshes scenario in the game’s more demanding Nightmare Mode. It introduces alternate encounter cards that reshape a quest players may already know, turning familiar territory into a darker and less predictable journey.

Each deck contains twenty new encounter cards to add to the matching original quest. A Nightmare Mode card explains which older cards must be removed during the original setup, while an additional card provides the rules needed to use the new content.
