Catan Dice Game Plus

About this expansion

Catan Dice Game Plus is a 2007 French-edition variant for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 30 minutes. It uses the components of the Catan Dice Game while introducing differences intended to make it a genuinely multiplayer experience.

This variant shares similarities with the original Catan Dice Game, but it is not simply the same presentation of the game. Its distinguishing feature is the set of changes made for multiplayer play, giving the variant its own identity while retaining a connection to the original dice-game components.

To use Catan Dice Game Plus, players need access to the produced game or, at minimum, the required dice and an understanding of the rules. The official description specifically identifies these as necessary for playing the variant.

• Players: 2–4
• Play time: 30 minutes
• Edition: French edition variant
• Components: Uses components from the Catan Dice Game

The result is a compact variant for players interested in a multiplayer-focused take on the Catan Dice Game concept. Its appeal lies in how it combines familiar source components with differences designed around playing with multiple participants.

Whether you own the produced game or have the necessary dice and rules knowledge, this variant offers another way to approach the source game’s component set. Catan Dice Game Plus is therefore best understood as a related French-edition multiplayer variant rather than a completely separate game.
