Trismegistus: The Ultimate Formula – Alchemists is a mini-expansion for 1–4 players, adding 10 asymmetrical character abilities to the 2020 game. A play session takes approximately 120 minutes.

During setup, each player receives two Character cards alongside their Starting Experiments, Masterpiece Experiments, Publications, and Starting Artifacts. Players then secretly select one Character card together with their other starting options.

The chosen Character card is placed face up on the player board, covering the portrait already there. This gives each player a distinct character ability that can shape their experience with the game.

• 10 asymmetrical abilities: Character cards provide different benefits to different players.
• Secret selection: Each player chooses one Character card from two options during setup.
• Flexible effects: Some abilities provide a benefit at the start of the game, while others remain active throughout the game.

Any start-of-game benefit is received immediately after the Character card is selected. If the card provides an ongoing benefit, it stays in effect for the rest of the game.

Alchemists offers a compact way to add character-driven asymmetry to Trismegistus: The Ultimate Formula without changing the core setup into an entirely new game. Originally available as part of the Builders Promo Pack from the Dice Tower 2020 Kickstarter campaign, this mini-expansion gives players meaningful setup choices before play begins.
