Friedrich de Luxe Expansion

About this expansion

Friedrich de Luxe Expansion is an expansion for 3–4 players with a listed play time of 210 minutes, released in 2021. It adds practical storage components, replacement-style wooden blocks, labels, rules, and a fifth set of Tactical Cards.

The expansion includes 24 plastic box lids for the generals, each measuring like a flat matchbox. The lids come in different colours, including dark blue for Prussia and red for France, while the 24 accompanying labels have a look similar to the generals’ existing labels.

• 24 plastic box lids for the generals
• 24 labels for the lids
• 120 wooden blocks in seven colours
• One grey-patterned set of Tactical Cards
• One set of rules

The wooden blocks measure 11 × 11 × 6 mm and are supplied in a detailed colour assortment: 32 dark blue, 12 light blue, 16 dark green, 4 light green, 30 white, 6 yellow, and 20 red. This provides a substantial set of additional components for the game.

A key addition in the Friedrich de Luxe Expansion is the fifth set of Tactical Cards, identifiable by its grey pattern. It is especially useful if players run out of cards, a situation that can occur when Prussia successfully avoids battle for an extended period.

With its colour-coded general lids, matching labels, wooden blocks, and additional Tactical Cards, Friedrich de Luxe Expansion brings together useful physical components and a practical card supply in one package.
