Deception: Undercover Allies – Kickstarter Edition

About this expansion

Deception: Undercover Allies – Kickstarter Edition is an investigation game for 4–14 players, released in 2018. This Kickstarter-exclusive edition combines the Undercover Allies expansion with additional promotional content, accessories, and stretch goals in a larger-sized box.

The expansion broadens the investigation with more Means cards, Clue cards, Scene tiles, Events, and Roles. These additions were designed to bring greater balance to the Murderer’s chosen weapons, giving less frequently selected causes of death more opportunities to appear.

In particular, the expanded card selection makes causes such as Illness/Disease more viable options. That added uncertainty can lead to more varied investigations and create more interesting end-game narratives.

The Kickstarter Edition includes the core Undercover Allies expansion alongside a dedicated Kickstarter Pack. It also provides a practical storage solution for the complete collection of included content.

• Deception: Undercover Allies expansion
• Kickstarter Pack with 1 new Role card, 13 new Clue cards, and 10 Means cards
• Moulded plastic insert
• All stretch goals

Designed as an expanded and highly inclusive version, Deception: Undercover Allies – Kickstarter Edition offers a wider range of investigation materials while supporting more balanced choices for the Murderer. Its larger box is big enough to hold the base game, expansion, promos, and accessories, making it a comprehensive edition for players seeking the full Undercover Allies experience.
