The Red Dragon Inn: Battle for Greyport – Chaos in Copperforge is a cooperative deckbuilding adventure game expansion for 2–5 players, released in 2023. It transports the action to Copperforge, a gnomish city known as the center of arcano-mechanical invention in the world of The Red Dragon Inn.

Copperforge is Wizgille the Tinkerer’s hometown and is normally a place of peace and prosperity. Now, nefarious new villains have brought cogwheel-powered chaos to the city. Players must face new threats while defending Copperforge’s landmarks and confronting the dangers disrupting the city.

This expansion adds new scenarios, bosses, locations, and monsters to the Battle for Greyport experience. Its adventures include protecting important landmarks, stopping a train heist, and taking on steampunk-flavored mecha pilots.

• Eight new playable heroes join the game.
• New scenarios create fresh cooperative challenges.
• New bosses, locations, and monsters expand the adventure.
• Contraptions introduce a new way for enemies and heroes to interact.

Contraptions begin play attached to Monsters, enhancing them with new or stronger abilities. This makes dangerous enemies even more formidable until the heroes can defeat them.

When a Monster carrying a Contraption is defeated, the Contraption changes sides. It becomes a resource for the heroes and can be played like an Item card, turning an enemy enhancement into a potential advantage.

With its gnomish setting, mechanical mayhem, and new resource mechanic, Chaos in Copperforge expands The Red Dragon Inn: Battle for Greyport with a fresh collection of cooperative challenges and playable content.
