Desolate: Insurgence

About this expansion

Desolate: Insurgence is an expansion for Desolate that supports 1-4 players and has a 30-minute play time. It adds multiplayer play, the Scrap Pile micro expansion, and new ways to track each character’s resources and position.

Insurgence includes a sturdy box designed to house the core game and all expansions. To use it, you need the Desolate core game and both Dark Matters Boosters.

Each player receives a jumbo Player Card for tracking resources, along with cubes for personal resource management and black dice for tracking conflicts. Jumbo translucent meeples mark tactical positions on the shared Position Tracker, while silver cubes track scrap.

• Workshop exploration card: Spend scrap to build a power cell.
• New character card: Play as a robot with all-new mechanics.
• Six item cards: Discover more equipment, including two entirely new items.
• Ten tactics cards: Determine which aliens attack which players during conflicts.

With components for up to four players and individual tracking materials, Desolate: Insurgence expands the original experience beyond solo play. Its additional character, items, tactics, and scrap-focused content give the expansion a substantial collection of new material to add to Desolate.
