Dreamscape: On Purpose Mini-Expansion is a 2019 expansion for 1–4 players, designed for games lasting around 90 minutes. It introduces Purpose cards that reward players for meeting specific requirements and offer an ongoing way to use Dreamworld Powers.

When you meet the requirements of your Purpose card, reveal it, score its Slumber points, and place it on top of your completed card stack. This turns the fulfilled card into more than a scored objective: it becomes an active part of your future play.

As long as the Purpose card remains on top of your completed card stack, you may place a shard from your Hands onto it. Red shards are excluded, but any other shard can be used to activate the card’s special benefit.

• Meet the requirements of a Purpose card.
• Reveal it and score its Slumber points.
• Place it on top of your completed card stack.
• Use a non-red shard from your Hands to access any Dreamworld Power while it remains on top.

This creates a clear sequence of achievement followed by opportunity. First, fulfill the Purpose card and add its Slumber points to your score; then, while it stays at the top of your completed card stack, use eligible shards to gain access to any Dreamworld Power.
