About this expansion

Hippocrates: Agora is an expansion for 1–4 players that adds four modular options to Hippocrates, with games lasting around 120 minutes. Set beside the temple in the bustling Agora of ancient Greece, it invites you to seek help for your medical practice and become the worthy successor to Hippocrates.

The expansion is designed for flexibility. You can combine one or more of its modules in any arrangement, allowing you to tailor each game with new opportunities, advantages, and threats.

• The Leaders: Earn extra victory points by matching doctors and patients from the same region during the coring phase.
• The Nurses: Hire nurses to assign to your doctors, helping them heal patients more efficiently.
• Benefactors and Nobles: Seek aid from benefactors who provide permanent advantages, or nobles who help you gain more victory points at the end of the game. Both come at a cost.
• The Events: Introduce events to shake up your game. Proactive players can be rewarded, but calamities may also plague your adventure in ancient Greece.

With its mix of permanent benefits, end-game rewards, regional doctor-and-patient matching, and unpredictable events, the expansion offers several ways to change how your medical team develops. Choose the modules that best suit your group and add new layers to the Hippocrates experience.
