Penumbra: Trials of Arcana is a competitive euro-style game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. It combines dice placement, tableau-building card combos, and dice manipulation in an epic adventure with an RPG feel.

You are a young wizard studying at a magical school, where every lesson offers a chance to develop your abilities. Build your expertise across several magical disciplines while pursuing the many activities of wizarding student life.

These arcane trials are opportunities to prove what you have learned and awaken even more of the magical power sleeping within you. Success requires making the most of your studies, your cards, and your dice as you pursue mastery.

In Penumbra: Trials of Arcana, the wizard who best proves their worth during studying and arcane trials acquires the School Cup and is declared the winner. Released in 2025, the game brings together magical-school activities, dice-driven decisions, and a competitive race to demonstrate arcane excellence.
