About this board game

011 is a 90-minute game for 3–6 players, set in an alternative 19th century where Ragnarök is approaching. The Inscrutable Organ of Eternity is hidden somewhere in Turin, and only it can prevent the coming disaster.

Among the game’s 8 Characters, only one is the Chosen One, the sole person able to play the Organ. Another character has been possessed by the Spirit of Fenrir the Wolf and will work to stop the Chosen One from reaching the hidden instrument.

Players must identify and deliver the Chosen One, along with the song of Making, to the Inscrutable Organ of Eternity before the 12th hour. The song is composed during play, while the search unfolds across a tightly limited series of rounds.

011 is played over 11 rounds called Hours. Every Hour follows the same five-phase sequence:

  1. Reveal an Event
  2. Bid for Turn Order
  3. Place Clues on the Map
  4. Take Character Actions and Movement
  5. Play Location Tiles

After all five phases are complete, advance the Hour Hand on the Ragnarök Clock. If it reaches XII after the 11th Hour, the game ends and all players lose; otherwise, the next Hour begins with a new Event.

With hidden identities, clues, bidding, movement, location tiles, and a shared countdown, 011 combines investigation and mounting urgency in a race against an apocalyptic deadline.
