About this board game

108 Outlaws is a tableau-building card game for 1–5 players, designed to play in around 30 minutes. Inspired by one of Chinese history’s classic epics, it challenges you to assemble a motley troop of reformed criminals and create your own path to victory.

Choose from 108 unique bandits, each offering different abilities and effects. With so many outlaws available, every game can become a new adventure as you shape your tableau and decide which characters best support your plans.

On your turn, choose between two straightforward options: play 1 card, or use 2 draw points to take cards. Earth Outlaws provide special bonus effects when played, while Heaven Outlaws reward careful planning by earning valuable honour points at the end of the game.

• Exhaust outlaws to undertake missions for honour points and bonus actions.

Missions give you another way to develop your position. At any point during your turn, you can exhaust your outlaws to go on missions, gaining honour points and bonus actions in return. Choosing when to commit your outlaws can help shape the momentum of your game.

When one player reaches 12 Outlaws, the game ends. The player with the most honour points wins, making each card choice, mission, and source of honour matter. In 108 Outlaws, simple rules combine with varied bandit abilities to create an immersive and challenging tableau-building experience.
