About this board game
1313 Dead End Drive is a bluffing board game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. In a mansion filled with dangerous traps, players maneuver heirs, conceal their identities, and compete to claim the largest share of the fortune.
On your turn, you move two characters on the board. These can be your own character, other players’ characters, or one of each. Dice determine movement, but you choose which dice to use for each character you move, creating opportunities for both careful positioning and deception.
Every heir matters because eliminating a character causes that heir’s moneybags to move down the will to the next heir in line. You are therefore encouraged to knock off opposing heirs, while protecting your own interests and trying to work out who the other players control.
- Bluff by moving an opponent’s character toward the entrance.
- Move your own character onto a trap space without releasing the trap.
- Use the mansion’s traps to remove heirs from the game.
- Compete for the most moneybags among the 20 available.
The game ends when everyone has left the mansion or when the final Clock Strikes Midnight card is drawn. Whoever has the most moneybags at that point wins, making every suspicious movement and tempting trap space part of the struggle for the inheritance.
With its 3D house board, shifting character identities, and opportunities to misdirect opponents, 1313 Dead End Drive turns movement into a tense game of hidden intentions. It re-implements 13 Dead End Drive and was released in 2002.
