18Rhl: Rhineland is an 18xx railway game for 3 to 6 players with a playing time of approximately 240 minutes. Based on Francis Tresham’s 1829, it challenges players to make more money than their rivals through company and railroad stock investments.

A small expansion was sold with copies at Essen in one year. It includes a special gray Essen tile containing both the city and a $20 Krupps factory spot on one of its six legs; this spot can form half of a Montan bonus run.
