About this board game

3 of a Kind is a competitive party game for 2–8 players that takes about 25 minutes to play. Across six rounds, players respond to imaginative prompts and try to think alike for the highest score.

Each round, players select a Category and three different Adjectives. Every player then writes one answer for each adjective within the selected category. The challenge is not simply to find a clever answer, but to predict which answers other players might choose.

The more players who write the same answer as you, the more points you get. That makes every prompt a test of shared instincts, creative interpretation, and awareness of the group. Questions can range from the scariest zoo animal to the happiest item in a junk drawer or the most dangerous fruit.
