About this board game

5-Minute Mystery is a cooperative deductive mystery game for 1–6 players, with an approximately 30-minute playing time. Work as a team of detectives to identify the culprit who stole the priceless MacGuffin from the Museum of Everything.

Before the museum can unveil its newest exhibit, a criminal sneaks in and takes the valuable artifact. Your investigation begins by searching each museum room for hidden symbols, then finding those symbols on the codex to unlock a clue about the thief.

Once you discover a clue, match its barcode against the culprit tile to reveal useful information about the crook. Does the suspect have an umbrella? If not, you can eliminate Mr. Braxton and narrow the search. Quickly sort through the suspect cards in your hand as you use each new detail to reduce the lineup.

You may need to make it through several rooms before you can determine exactly who is responsible. The pressure stays high as you race to solve the case, recover the MacGuffin, and make the most of the time available.
