About this expansion

51st State: Texas and Hegemony Factions is an expansion for the base game, adding two new factions for 1–4 players with an approximately 90-minute play time.

Each faction introduces a different approach to production and resource conversion. Texas provides an extra worker in production, then lets you convert all three resources into contact tokens at a 1:1 ratio.

Texas also offers additional flexibility during the round. You may choose one of its three actions a second time per round, creating a distinct rhythm for using its faction abilities and managing available resources.

Hegemony takes a different route. Its production grants an extra wild contact token, while its conversion rules distinguish between resource colors: grey and blue resources convert at 1:1, whereas red resources convert at 1:2.

• Texas: extra worker in production, plus 1:1 conversion for all three resources.
• Hegemony: extra wild contact token in production, with separate conversion rates for grey, blue, and red resources.

These two factions give the base game additional options without changing its core identity. Texas emphasizes broad resource conversion and the ability to repeat one selected action, while Hegemony centers on a wild contact token and color-dependent conversion.

Originally included with the 2016 release of 51st State: Master Set – Pre-Order Promos, this faction set was later released separately through the webshop.
