About this board game
A Call to Arms: Babylon 5 Space Combat is a tabletop space-combat game for 2–8 players, with battles lasting about 120 minutes. Set in the Babylon 5 universe, it lets players recreate confrontations involving the armed fleets of the galaxy’s many powers.
Take part in conflicts involving the Earth Alliance, Minbari Federation, Narn Regime, Centauri Republic, or other races from the setting. Battles can focus on single cruisers hunting raiders or expand into clashes between allied fleets and ancient beings from ages past.
The game supports a broad range of scenarios and fleet sizes. Play out small engagements involving tiny raiding forces, or stage huge confrontations inspired by the massed battle of Corianna VI, featuring the League of Non-Aligned Worlds, Minbari, Vorlons, and Shadows.
- A complete space-combat rulebook
- A ship recognition guide detailing nearly 100 different warship classes
- A large Babylon 5 space-combat poster
- Counters for every one of the 90+ ships covered in the rulebooks
The counters provide enough ships to begin using every class in the game several times over straight from the main box. This makes it possible to assemble forces from different fleets and immediately bring the setting’s major confrontations to the tabletop.
With its focus on fleet battles, varied factions, and conflicts ranging from intimate skirmishes to galaxy-spanning engagements, A Call to Arms offers a way to explore the turbulent history of Babylon 5 through tabletop space combat. Highly detailed fleet box sets for the Earth Alliance, Centauri Republic, and ISA were also announced for later release.
