About this board game
A game about WEE WHIMSICAL CREATURES and trying to identify them after someone makes noises is a party game for 4–10 players with an approximately 50-minute play time.
Across the game, players encounter 80 wonderfully weird beasties, each inviting the same question: what noise would this creature make? One player randomly selects a target creature and quietly considers how it might sound.
The noise-maker then performs that sound, attempting to keep it distinct from the other four monsters visible on the table. Everyone else listens carefully and tries to identify which creature inspired the noise. The challenge lies in making a sound that points toward the target without becoming confused with the other possibilities.
- 4–10 players
- Approximately 50 minutes
- 80 unusual creatures
- Majority-based guessing and scoring
The scoring rewards both expressive noises and clever group judgment. The noise-maker earns a point when the majority guesses correctly. Guessers can score by choosing correctly or by making the same guess as the majority, giving everyone a reason to weigh their instincts against the table’s emerging consensus.
This was the first ‘Bezzy Budget Bag’ game. It was sold in a resealable plastic bag for £5 GBP at UKGE 2021, where it sold out after a day; a reprint was planned for the end of 2021. With its unusual creatures and sound-based identification, the game about WEE WHIMSICAL CREATURES turns simple noises into a playful test of imagination and group perception.
