Adrenaline: Laser-Magnum

About this expansion

Adrenaline: Laser-Magnum is a weapon promo card for the 3–5 player game Adrenaline, which has a play time of 60 minutes. Released in 2016, this card was included with the German magazine Spielbox, issue No. 7/2016.

The Laser Magnum offers two firing modes. In basic mode, choose one target within sight. That target receives a mark, giving the weapon a distinct effect without dealing damage in this mode.

In alternate fire mode, choose one or two targets within sight. One target receives 2 damage, while the other receives 1 damage. This provides a different way to use the same weapon card when the required targets are within sight.

• Basic mode: choose 1 target within sight and give it a mark.
• Alternate fire mode: choose 1 or 2 targets within sight; one target receives 2 damage and the other receives 1 damage.
• Reloading costs no ammo.

The Laser Magnum follows the usual weapon-state rule when played: it becomes unloaded, just like any other weapon. Its special reload benefit applies during the reload step, when reloading it costs nothing, but playing the card still leaves it unloaded afterward.

Adrenaline: Laser-Magnum is a compact 2016 addition focused on target selection, marking, damage, and an unusual no-ammo reload cost. As a magazine promo card, it adds this specific weapon option to Adrenaline while retaining the game’s standard unloaded-weapon procedure.
