Adventure Games: The Dungeon is a cooperative exploration and story game for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes. Players awaken in a prison cell during the Middle Ages with no memory of how they arrived there.

Across three chapters, the group explores the rooms of an old castle, searches for clues, talks to people, and combines objects to uncover the dungeon’s secrets. Each chapter takes about 75 minutes, allowing the story to develop through shared investigation and discussion.

The game focuses on discovery and storytelling rather than time pressure. As players make decisions, the course of the story changes, and there is no going back. Different paths can be experienced, with more than one correct resolution waiting to be found.
