About this board game

Air Postal is a 1–4 player board game, released in 2023, with a play time of approximately 120 minutes. Set at the dawn of the 1920s, it challenges players to become legendary pilots by opening air routes and accumulating the most Glory Points.

Begin with a small selection of First World War military biplanes, such as the Breguet XIV, recycled into transport aircraft. These early machines are outdated and underpowered, limiting pilots to shorter routes. As technological and commercial development progresses, more efficient aircraft become available, allowing players to attempt increasingly ambitious journeys.

On each turn, choose one of three main actions:

• Take an Objective card and collect your income.
• Improve your aircraft or change it for another.
• Load your aircraft, refuel, fly, and deliver passengers or goods.

Flights put your aircraft and pilot to the test. You roll the dice matching the colors of the course, while the route length, fuel used, pilot endurance, and engine reliability determine whether you can cover the distance.

Glory Points are earned by flying to a Stage City, completing objectives, and achieving world-first flights. Players can pursue remarkable milestones such as crossing the Atlantic or the Andes, with the ultimate ambition of completing an aerial tour of the globe.

Grounded in the stories of the men and women who shaped early civilian aviation, Air Postal also features the most famous civilian airplanes of the 1920s and 1930s. At the end of the game, aircraft technology and remaining money provide additional Glory Points, rewarding pilots who combine daring routes with long-term development.
