All Things Zombie: Better Dead Than Zed! is a 2009 zombie survival game for 1–8 players, with sessions lasting about 45 minutes. It places you in the middle of a catastrophic outbreak from its very first day.

Unlike games set after zombies have already overrun the world, this experience begins with confusion, chaos, and limited information. You may not immediately know who is human and who is already a zombie, making the people around you a potential threat as the situation collapses.

Your challenge is to survive the first 30 days of the outbreak—and then decide what comes next. First, escape the soulless creatures threatening you; later, hunt them down and take back what was lost while building a future of your own.

• Play solo, cooperatively with everyone on the same side, or competitively against the other players.
• Enjoy a single game or make your story part of an ongoing campaign.
• Face dangers from both zombies and the humans around you, including neighbors and sometimes friends.

All Things Zombie is about more than simply staying alive. Its broader goal is to rebuild the world as you knew it, perhaps with you in charge this time. The changing situation and different ways to play support a personal survival story, whether you are facing the outbreak alone or sharing the struggle with up to seven other players.
