About this board game

Amalfi is a strategic board game for 1–4 players, with play taking around 180 minutes, set in the Italian port town during the Renaissance. Players become merchants seeking to revive a once-dominant maritime power and restore its abandoned harbor.

Each merchant family begins with only six small ships. Use these vessels to trade resources, earn money, and invest in infrastructure that can make future gains more efficient. Every decision contributes to the larger goal of rebuilding Amalfi while competing to become the city’s most successful family.

Purchasing charts and investing in navigation can improve the way you earn money. Building new ships gives you more workers, allowing you to take more actions and strengthen your growing merchant operation.
