Purchase barrels from renowned distilleries and hope that time transforms them into prestigious whiskey. As the barrels age, some of their contents naturally evaporate—the Angel’s Share—potentially concentrating the remaining flavors while reducing the amount of whiskey left to sell.

Every barrel carries the uncertainty of this aging process. Evaporation can leave you with a valuable, prestigious whiskey, or with a low volume of a broken-down spirit. The longer a spirit ages, the greater the potential impact of what is lost.
